Giclee is a French word meaning to spray or to squirt (hence the reference to ink jet printing). It is pronounced "zhee-clay" (or gee-clay if your lazy, like me). The no-fade archival inks used are almost as high tech as the printers. With today's new technologies we are able to print reproductions of fine art directly on to high grade artist's canvas.
